Adam H. Small Adam H. Small currently serves as the CEO of Strategic Business Network, LLC., which he founded in 2004. While managing SBN’s growth, Adam pursues additional entrepreneurial activities as both an active investor and business partner in several enterprises including: Synchevents, Thread F/X, Inc, Nashville Bank & Trust and Essent Healthcare. Small began his career as a Senior Analyst with a boutique investment-banking firm. In 1999 Small founded technology Venture Fund and Incubator eConception, where he evaluated and structured investment opportunities. Most recently, Adam worked for Essent Healthcare serving in the position of Director of Development in which he researched and provided due diligence for hospital acquisition targets. While in school, Adam worked within his family’s fourth generation business, Horace Small Apparel Company, a leader in uniform and career apparel, in which the company had an IPO in 1990 and Small left in 1997. He graduated with honors from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.E. in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. Small is an author and speaker as well as facilitator of Networking and Entrepreneurial seminars/programs, including FastTrac™ which Small has taught on behalf of the Nashville Chamber since the course’s Nashville launch in 1999. Small instructs Networking workshops privately for companies and membership organizations. Following a personal passion to serve as a catalyst in advancing the recognition and impact of Young Professionals; Small currently Chairs and is a Founder of Nashville Emerging Leaders and the YP Nashville. Previously awarded “Top 30 Under 30” and “Top 40 Under 40” by Business Nashville and the Tennessean respectively. Small is a former President of the Nashville Area Junior Chamber and alumnus of Leadership Nashville, Leadership Middle Tennessee, Nashville Emerging Leaders and Young Leader’s Council. Small is active in the Nashville community having served on the following Boards: Nashville Chamber of Commerce, Nashville Convention Center Commission, Vanderbilt Hillel, MARQUEE, Avant Garde, Thread F/X Inc, Logic Media Group, TN Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Metropolitan Auditorium Commission, Nashville Humane Association and Friends of Metro General Hospital. |
